Dear Students:

This is our first full week of full days of school. Let's make them full of the joy of learning! ...and the pride of achievement!

We have a great class! I am so proud of the 4th Graders and the new students to our school in learning and doing well in the Classroom Duties. And I am so proud of the 5th Graders who I had last year, in the great example they have set for doing the Duties with impressive effort.

I promise I have great learning planned for this week. Always be ready to try your best and you will become great!

           Sincerely,

           Mr. Stathis

Dear Students:

Truely, when "You miss a day, you miss a lot!" Think for a moment all you would have missed if you were gone yesterday! Wow! Did we do a lot! The next part of the story, sharing student stories, 'averages' in Math, multiplying and dividing techniques, Teamwork in Math, and the Decoration Project, and so much more! Room 16, a great place to be!

I am so happy you are here today!

           Sincerely,

           Mr. Stathis

Dear Students:

You are each one part of the whole of our great classroom of learning. You know you are responsible to learn so much: in Reading, in reading aloud, in honoring your classmates when they read or make great answers. In Math, for exercising your brain to work with numbers in 100 different ways and to solve problems. The more you know, the more problems you can solve, and the more exciting become the challenges!

It is exciting to have the courage to take-on challenges. You can do whatever you put your mind to!

           Sincerely,

           Mr. Stathis

Dear Students:

      Did you do your Homework?

I expect you to do your Homework, and your parents expect you to do all your school responsibilities. Doing your Homework keeps you learning at the pace with everyone else. When you don't do your Homework, you fall behind and that's nobody's fault but your own.

I honor you for doing what I expect, and I especially honor you when you go beyond and do extra!

           Sincerely,

           Mr. Stathis

Dear Students:

Wow! Everyone was here yesterday! No one "missed a lot" because we sure did do a lot together!

Each day that you are here in our special and unique class is a day filled with so many interesting opportunities for sharing, learning, creating, and getting better and better at challenging tasks.

"When you miss a day, you miss a lot!"

Let's make a lot of great experiences happen today!

           Sincerely,

           Mr. Stathis
